Published rates effective beginning June 17, 2024. Program tuition is based on a student transferring 86 credits toward the degree. Total tuition for the 34 nursing credits required at PNW is $13,882.88 ($408.32 per credit hour). New students who are employed by one of PNW’s hospital partners or are current students at one of PNW’s community college partners may receive scholarships to reduce tuition for the 34 nursing credits to $10,604.88 ($312 per credit hour). Scholarship eligibility is subject to change for students who have previously dropped out of the program. Program cost will increase for students who do not bring in maximum credit; students will be assessed $408.32 per credit hour. The University reserves the right to increase prices and/or discontinue the scholarship at any time. Tuition and fees are subject to change by the Board of Trustees.

Available for Purdue Northwest RN-to-BSN Alumni and Employees at Partner Institutions

Students will incur differential fees, in addition to tuition, based on the number of credits taken per term. Differential fees are $221.25 when registered for less than 8 hours and $281.50 for 8 hours or more and are assessed once each traditional semester. Tuition and fees are subject to change by the Board of Trustees.

BSN Scholarships for Partner Health Care Facilities and Community Colleges

We offer a scholarship to undergraduate students employed by partner health care facilities and graduates of partner community colleges. The maximum scholarship for partner health care facilities and community colleges is $1,000 per student.

The scholarship applies only to nursing courses and is not retroactive. This scholarship can be stacked on top of our standard new student scholarship.

Review Your Financial Aid Status

Please check for messages about the status of your financial aid by following these steps:

  • Log onto myPNW using your career account
  • Click on the “Financial Aid” tab (located at the top of page)
  • Click on “Financial Aid” (under Main Menu)
  • Click on “Important Financial Aid Messages” (under Financial Aid)
  • Select your award year (i.e., “2020–2021 Aid Year”) and click “Submit”
  • Click on the “Student Requirements” link
  • View any unsatisfied requirements and review any applicable links

Once you are granted financial aid, you must accept your award by following these steps:

  • Click on “Award Information” (under Financial Aid)
  • Click on “Award by Aid Year” (under Award)
  • Select your award year (i.e., “2022–2023 Aid Year”) and click “Submit”
  • Review each tab under “Award Package for YYYY–YYYY Aid Year”

Current BSN tuition rates are effective until June 17, 2024. Current tuition for the 34 nursing credits required at PNW is $13,477.26 ($396.39 per credit hour). New students who are employed by one of PNW’s hospital partners or are current students at one of PNW’s community college partners may receive scholarships to reduce tuition for the 34 nursing credits to $10,199.26 ($300 per credit hour). Scholarship eligibility is subject to change for students who have previously dropped out of the program. Program cost will increase for students who do not bring in maximum credit.

MSN Alumni Scholarship: Must have completed the PNW RN-to-BSN to be eligible for scholarship.

Textbook Fee: The instructional material access fee is $299 per semester. The fee is not included in total tuition. All students are automatically entered into the access program and must opt out if they do not want to participate.
